Many years ago, a dear friend told me the story of two crabs on the beach as an analogy of how to establish love relationship. One crab moves forward a little and the other moves slightly towards them. In time they see each other enough to know if they want togetherness. The path to union requires the will and effort of both.
I knew a Cancerian once who even looked a bit like a crab. When stressed he wouldn’t be seen for weeks. He held his cards close to his chest and rarely spoke. When I last saw him he was still alone, hiding in his shell. Reaching out is a risk and rushing forward may be a mistake. A smile, wave or friendly chat are small steps that can lead to a shared life of happiness. Experience the ultimate power of love.
